Regus is set to expand its network of Scottish business centres to more than 320 by opening a new facility in Livingston.
According to the global workspace provider, Livingston is known for its vibrant business environment – particularly in the design and technology sectors.
Its new centre – in the middle of the popular Fairways Business Park and near to Premier Inn – will offer a range of flexible working options, including meeting rooms available to hire by the hour, co-working and office spaces, and virtual office services.
Regus claims demand for flexible workspace is growing steadily as businesses look to save money on leases and give employees greater freedom in where and when they work.
Its latest research shows that 40% of UK workers spend at least 2.5 days per week working outside of their main office and that a third of UK employers are offering their staff more flexible working options.
According to Regus, technology makes it possible to work anywhere, yet most people prefer an office-style environment to remain productive, motivated and disciplined.
