New bid writer joins the rapidly-expanding firm which has been shortlisted for two Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce business awards
AM Bid Services has expanded its Lothians team with the appointment of Callum Graham, an experienced bidding and proposal management professional.
The award-winning bid specialist has recruited Graham to the role of bid writer – to which he brings four years’ bid writing and management experience and a proven track record in the public, commercial and third sectors after leading and developing successful bids totalling more than £100 million in contract wins.
Prior to joining AM Bid Services, Graham held a bid executive post at Scott-Moncrieff (part of Moore Stephens UK), where he was responsible for the bids and proposals function, managing a broad range of bids from small commercial proposals to large public sector tenders.
According to AM Bid Services, Graham joins the firm at an exciting time, with the company continuing to grow at an exponential rate, with turnover for 2015/16 exceeding £¼ million, up 195% on the previous year, and turnover for its third year on target for £450k+.
Graham said: “I am delighted to join AM Bid Services, especially at a time of such rapid growth. The company are a passionate team of knowledgeable and experienced bid experts and I am excited to join them in a role working with a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors.
“My role will be to focussed on helping our clients grow their businesses through winning new contracts, as well as expanding AM Bid Services’ client base and service offerings.”

On joining the company, Graham’s primary focus will be on improving clients’ bid capabilities and success rates through managing the bid process throughout its lifecycle, including writing and editing bids and tender response documents.
He will also be involved in creating and delivering training in bid processes and best practice, as well as working with bid teams to develop compelling tender presentations.
