CBO Associates brings a safe pair of hands to Fife & Tayside

CBO Associates is set to expand into Fife and Tayside to help businesses meet essential health and safety standards and industry expected certifications.
The quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) firm, which also specialises in information security, will bring more than 20 years’ of industry expertise to the area.
It has recently relocated to Dundee to be able to serve its existing north-east corridor clients, while developing relationships in the east of Scotland, and has recently launched an HR division specialising in external certification.
Clark Boles, Managing Director of CBO Associates, said: “We are thrilled to bring our offering to Fife and Tayside. We’ve been drawn to the area as a result of a number of new business enquiries, serving to highlight the buoyancy of the east’s current economic climate.
“Having worked with organisations such as KSW Engineering Ltd and Clark-IT, we are able to bring the very best industry knowledge and practises to Dundee and Fife businesses, ensuring the necessary processes and systems are in place to ensure future growth for them and for the area.
“Approved by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA), we place great importance upon continuous improvement and staying ahead of the latest industry developments.
“Our reputation is that of a company that works closely with our customers as an extended member of their team. This approach has helped us to understand the specific needs of each businesses and how the implementation of management systems and a robust HR offering can make a real difference to day-to-day operations.”
The recently launched HR offering allows businesses to outsource HR support where it is not viable to have full-time HR support in house, or the current HR department requires help with specific projects or interim support.
CBO Associates works with businesses looking for certification or accreditation, providing a tailored programme of activity to ensure ‘Approved Vendor’, ‘Preferred Supplier’ or ‘Safety Accreditation Scheme’ status is achieved across QHSE, information security, and HR obligations.
Boles added: “For many smaller organisations, HR support is often only required on an ad hoc basis. This is very much where we CBO Associates can provide cost effective support, whether it’s for implementing a recruitment process or handling disciplinary and grievance issues.”
