Fife edges closer to becoming a WorldHost destination

Fife Tourism Partnership hails the first stages of a campaign to establish the region as a WorldHost destination an early success as it urges more businesses to sign up for customer service training

Ten companies in Fife have become accredited WorldHost providers just six months after Fife Tourism Partnership launched its campaign to make the region a WorldHost destination.
Alistair Bruce, chair of the Fife Tourism Partnership, said: “2015 has definitely been the year when tourism recognised that excellence in customer care is key to business success.  Knowing how to deal with guests well is motivating for staff members and reflects well on the business and the area. It’s no surprise that successful businesses are getting involved in The WorldHost programme. It is a quick and effective way to inspire your staff who deal with your visitors every day.”
The next WorldHost course is set to take place in St Andrews on January 8.
