Clark Communications boosts team with appointment of senior consultant

Kirsty MacGregor has been appointed following a stint at the University of Stirling

Edinburgh-based media relations consultancy Clark Communications has appointed former director of marketing and public relations at the University of Stirling Kirsty MacGregor as a senior consultant.
MacGregor will now play a key role in the development of new clients and sectors, as well as servicing existing clients.
An experienced public relations and marketing professional, she has a proven track record of providing expert and informed advice to senior management teams on all aspects of internal and external communications, according to the firm, including PR, marketing and public affairs.
Her career has largely been spent in the public sector, specifically in Government and higher education, but MacGreor says the commercial aspects of that sector have played a large part in her roles, allowing her to build significant sectoral communications experience working with spin out businesses and collaborations in tech, energy, finance, textiles, tourism, aquaculture and healthcare.
Lesley Brydon, managing director of Clark Communications, said: “Kirsty will undoubtedly be a great addition to the team.
“With her strong public sector background, experience in many of Scotland’s strongest sectors, her creativity, and her sheer enthusiasm for communication in all forms, Kirsty will play an integral part in the growth of Clark Communications as we hit the business development trail over the coming year.”
MacGregor added: “I’m excited to be joining Clark Communications at a time of growth for the consultancy.
“Over the past three years the consultancy has established itself as one of Scotland’s leading boutique agencies with an established reputation of providing clients with a highly personalised approach that delivers outstanding results.”
Clark Communications, whose clients include the Institute of Directors, Weightmans LLP, and Change Recruitment Group, was established in 2012, and says it has experienced year-on-year growth since.
