Free employability information event for City of Edinburgh Council staff, clients, school leavers and the unemployed
Those who have recently left school or are unemployed are invited to get along to an information event in Edinburgh next month.
City of Edinburgh Council staff and clients are also encouraged to attend the Fresh Start event to find out more about the employability services offered by Jump Start, whose next course starts in September, and Work Bites.
The event takes place at 22 – 24 Ferry Road Drive, Edinburgh, EH4 4BR on Thursday, 25 August between 2pm and 4pm.
Jump Start is for individuals who want to get into work and would like some practical experience as well as the opportunity to get a qualification (SQA Personal Development Award).
Work Bites is for those aged between 16 and 24 and who are unsure about what work they want to do and want to learn some new skills while trying out different practical tasks such as gardening, cooking, warehouse work and PAT testing.
