Lateral City appoints Suzanne Ezzi as sales & marketing manager

New hire for serviced apartment provider 

Edinburgh-based serviced apartment provider Lateral City has appointed Suzanne Ezzi to the position of sales & marketing manager.
Ezzi, a native of Dunblane, joins the company from the Crowne Plaza Edinburgh, where she was sales manager.
In her role, Ezzi swill be responsible for the company’s luxury properties: Old Town Chambers and Merchiston Residence, as well as the new Edinburgh Grand, which is due to open in summer 2017.
She has previously worked at Edinburgh’s Dynamic Earth and Fairmont St Andrews, along with periods working for the Fairmont brand in Vancouver, Canada.
Ezzi takes over from John Read, who is leaving the business to pursue new opportunities in Canada.
She said: “Serviced apartments are one of the fastest growing sectors of the hospitality industry, so it’s an exciting time to be joining one of Edinburgh’s leading providers.
“Lateral City has plenty in the pipeline over the coming months, including both the redevelopment of RBS’s former headquarters in St Andrew Square and a new property on Glasgow’s George Square, and I can’t wait to get stuck in!”
