Sell-out development lands house builder winning title
Stirling-based home builder Stewart Milne Homes has landed the Development of the Year title at The Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2016 for Devon Lane in West Lothian.
The firm won the award for the picturesque Devon Lane development which overlooks Devon Pond in the village of Winchburgh.
Its exclusive development is located within the grounds of a 150-year old farm steading and features 35 new high quality detached family homes, as well as three new modern homes converted from the existing stone steadings.
The luxury homes were designed by Stewart Milne Homes’ award-winning team to create flexible living spaces that meet the needs of modern family life and have proved extremely popular with buyers with the development now completely sold out.
Lorraine Paterson, sales and marketing director of Stewart Milne Homes, said: “We’re very proud to have won this prestigious award which recognises our truly unique Devon Lane development in Winchburgh.
“Devon Lane has been a huge success story for us. The idyllic location, together with our team’s attention to detail in creating homes which build on the distinctive rural setting, has created somewhere really special where families are proud to call home.”
The winners were announced at The Herald Property Awards for Scotland which saw hundreds of figures from across the house building and development industry gather at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on 22 September.
