Last chance to enter EU competition with €100,000 up for grabs
Female entrepreneurs who have successfully brought an innovation to market are being urged to enter the European Commission’s EU Prize for Women Innovators 2017 competition – a contest the UK will no longer be able to enter once it leaves the EU – for a chance to win up to €100,000.
The 2017 competition, which launched 13 September 2016, is open to women of any nationality living in an EU Member State, including countries associated with Horizon 2020, which have founded or co-founded a company with a turnover of at least €100,000.
The winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize will receive €100,000, €50,000 and €30,000 respectively, while the competition will also feature a Rising Innovator award worth €20,000 for a female entrepreneur under 35 years old for the first time.
The closing date for entries is 3 November 2016.
