esignature platform appointed by major recruitment network

The advent of EU ‘eIDAS’ regulations this year has standardised electronic signatures, giving confidence to the industry to go paperless and the opportunity to improve compliance

Edinburgh-based Legalesign, the electronic signatures platform, has been appointed by TEAM, the UK’s largest network of independent recruiters, as service provider for electronic signatures.

The firm says electronic signature technology enables recruiters to improve their service towards the very definition of perfect recruitment: moving workers effortlessly between roles.

It claims that, with electronic signature tech, job seekers can now get registered and placed within the hour, even within the space of a single phone call. Candidates no longer need access to printers, paper and ink, only a mobile phone with an internet connection.

According to Legalesign, recruiters nationwide use the platform to get documents and forms completed quickly and efficiently online. The advent of EU ‘eIDAS’ regulations this year has standardised electronic signatures, giving confidence to the industry to go paperless, and the opportunity to improve compliance.

Ben Eliott, CEO of Legalesign, said: “Uptake for electronic signatures is growing fast amongst recruiters and Legalesign is optimising its platform specifically for the industry.

“Recruiters are realising not only that electronic signature eliminates paper and delays from their business, but that it significantly improves their candidates’ experience too. One recruiter reduced their average registration time down to 15 minutes in total with Legalesign.”

Jackie Bennett, managing director at TEAM, added: “We are delighted that Legalesign have joined TEAM with their innovative product and we look forward to working with Ben and the team.”
