Aquila Insight appoints Red Lorry Yellow Lorry for retained PR

PR specialist will kick off with a thought leadership-based campaign to help build brand awareness, aid recruitment and generate leads in the retail and telecoms sectors

Edinburgh-based data analytics specialist Aquila Insight has appointed global technology PR (public relations) consultancy Red Lorry Yellow Lorry as its retained PR agency.
It has brought the London-headquartered PR firm on board to raise brand awareness, aid recruitment and strengthen its UK presence outwith Scotland, as well as position Aquila Insight as a data innovation leader in key vertical sectors such as retail and telecoms.
Founded in 2012, Aquila Insight recently achieved 12th place in the 2016 Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, the UK’s foremost technology award programme celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship. The company was also placed 64th in the Deloitte Fast 500 in the EMEA region.
The firm uses a combination of smart people and agile technology to help businesses such as Sony Mobile, RBS and Tesco Bank unlock and realise the value of their customer data.
It currently employs 75 staff across its UK offices and is expecting headcount to double in the next 12 months.
Red Lorry Yellow Lorry will kick off with a thought leadership based campaign to help build brand awareness, aid recruitment and generate leads in the retail and telecoms sectors.
John Brodie, Aquila Insight’s joint CEO and founder, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Red Lorry Yellow Lorry. They understand the industry, our business, what we’re trying to achieve and where we want to get to.
“There’s a huge amount of buzz around ‘big data’ and how brands can use that data more intelligently. We’re looking to the lorries to help define our story and our messages, and help us stand out from the crowd.”
Rob Ettridge, partner at Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, said: “There’s so much data now at our fingertips yet surprisingly many brands need educating about how to use it smartly to understand and predict their consumers’ behaviours.
“With its unique blend of smart client-facing data analysts and innovative technology, Aquila Insight is the right company to help connect those dots and provide real insight into the value of customer data.
“As a rapidly-growing company in an exciting space, we’re thrilled they’ve chosen the lorries to help take the company to the next level.”
Red Lorry Yellow Lorry also has offices in Boston and Los Angeles and specialises in traditional PR, as well as digital PR, content creation and customer engagement services.
Its client list features major technology and content providers, incuding Aspera (IBM), Avid, eBay, Hogarth, Elo, Intralinks, LogMeIn, Quantum, Three and Vicon.
The company is listed in PR Week as one of the UK’s top 15 technology PR agencies and is an accredited PRCA member.
