Dunfermline restaurant Ciao Italia on the market for £495,000

Popular Fife Italian restaurant could make an attractive investment opportunity for the right buyer

Midlothian based M Crolla & Sons, which currently operates five food businesses across Edinburgh, Fife and the Lothians, has announced that it is selling its Dunfermline restaurant, Ciao Italia.
The move is part of the company’s plans to launch a new food concept with branches in retail parks across Central Scotland.
The 70-cover Ciao Italia has successfully traded for the past six years in Dunfermline’s Nethertown Broad Street and is on the market with Cornerstone Business Agents for £495,000.
Marco Crolla said: “Ciao Italia has secured a solid market share in Dunfermline, and we are very proud of the restaurant we have created. We are a relatively young company with lots of ideas we wish to develop. The decision to sell has been taken purely because we now have a new food concept on which we have been working for some time. We will be revealing this new plan very soon. Ciao Italia simply does not fit with this new concept at this time.
“It’s business as usual at the restaurant until May however, as we will not be handing over the restaurant to any buyer until then.
“In the meantime, we hope to attract strong interest in the business and will welcome any offers.”
