Want to change the world in 2017? You could land £1,000 in the process

Chance for Scots to win £1,000 to make dreams reality

Scots are being offered the chance to land £1,000 by doing their bit to put community projects and ideas into action and change the world for the better in 2017.
They’re invited to take part in organic skin and haircare brand Green People’s 20th anniversary campaign ‘Change the World in 20 Ways’ and offer up their ideas for making a positive difference to the community around them – regardless how big or small.
Whether it’s trying to get a charity project off the ground, starting a free-to-attend yoga class or sprucing up a local urban area, Green People says it wants to hear from people with their ideas and why they deserve to receive £1,000 towards their project.
Green People is being supported by anatomist, author and broadcaster (and its official science communication advisor and brand ambassador) Professor Alice Roberts (pictured).
Roberts said: “This is a chance for people to think of a way they’d like to make a positive change – and to get some support to make that dream a reality. I’m delighted to be helping Green People in their quest to spread around some positivity and inspire people to change the world for the better.”
To submit your ideas, along with a breakdown of how you would spend the money, email greenpeople@pmwcom.co.uk no later than Monday, 31 July 2017.
