Represent brings in university graduate as summer intern

PR firm gears up for busy summer season with new appointment 

Creative PR, digital marketing and social media management agency Represent has appointed Anna Fresen, a post-graduate student studying Arts, Festival and Cultural Management at Queen Margaret University, as PR and Digital Intern for the summer season.
Fresen will be working alongside the Represent team for 10 weeks on the National Wallace Monument, Green Tourism and upcoming 177th Royal Highland Show campaigns. 
Originally from South Africa, Fresen (31) moved to Edinburgh in 2008 and has a strong history in the Scottish food and drink industry. She is also said to be passionate about great customer service and has expertise in communications and online marketing.
Fresen said: “I am very excited to be working alongside the dynamic team at Represent, and to be working on campaigns for such a varied array of clients. It is clear that the staff here are very experienced, and I am sure that my time spent here will be of great benefit to me.”
Represent Managing Director Judith O’Leary said: “Since our move to Edinburgh, we have been very busy and now with a hectic but exciting summer season ahead of us we are happy to have Anna on board. Her experience and expertise will be a great addition to our team.
Fresen will continue the role until 13 July 2017, after which she will return to her studies and running a weekly pub quiz.
