Festive season to come early for travellers visiting Squire Hotels
If you’re booked into one of Squire’s hotels next month you might find that Christmas has come early.
The North West hotel group, which specialises in meetings, conferences and events, is set to celebrate Christmas in July to help mark National Halfway to Christmas Month.
Three hotels in the Squire Group – Etrop Grange in Manchester; Best Western Plus Samlesbury in Preston, and The Hydro in Windermere – will be decked out in all things Christmas to encourage businesses to book early for the festive season.
The new ‘awareness month’, which has been launched this year, will last throughout the whole of July, with the hotel group saying it has chosen to get involved to showcase what its venues have to offer for Christmas conferences, meeting or parties.
Jodi Masterson, Director of Operations at Squire Hotels, said: “Christmas is a very exciting time but it can also be a very busy time for businesses and a lot don’t have the time to plan Christmas activities when they start thinking about it in November.
“National Half Way to Christmas Month encourages business professionals to think about Christmas that little bit earlier and allows for venues and businesses to display what they have to offer so plans can be made in advance.”
Each of Squire’s chosen hotels will display Christmas trees and decorations in the hotel reception, while food menus will offer festive delights from 1 – 7 July.
Music will comprise Christmas classics, while other festive treats on offer throughout the week will include mince pies offered – all culminating in client Christmas parties towards the end of the week.
