Edinburgh New Town Cookery School takes top title at Food Awards Scotland
Edinburgh New Town Cookery School (ENTCS) has been crowned Scotland’s Cookery School of the Year. It picked up the title at last night’s Food Awards Scotland event in Glasgow.
The business, which offers professional and leisure courses from its Queen Street base, frequently sees its graduates enter some of the UK’s top kitchens.
Fiona Burrell, who has more than 30 years’ experience of teaching professional cookery, founded ENTCS after serving as Principal of London-based Leiths School of Food & Wine.
Now Principal of her own venture, Burrell said: “The team at ENTCS works hard to train our students for a career in the food industry. This recognition is terrific news and the icing on the cake of an already successful year.”
