Overnight traffic management will be in place for six weeks
Overnight traffic management will be in place at M90 Junction 3 Halbeath for approximately six weeks beginning on 11 September, to allow operating company Amey to carry out refurbishment works on the bridges over the M90.
During daytime hours there will be no traffic restrictions and no impact on traffic, however overnight traffic management will be in place between 20:00 and 06:00, when disruption to traffic is expected to be minimal.
Details of the traffic management will vary as the work progresses – each night it will consist of either lane closures on the roundabout or lane closures on the M90 underneath.
The refurbishment works will consist of concrete repairs to the bridge supports and replacement of the expansion joints. These works are considered essential for the continued safe operation of the structures.
Amey has already written to local residents to advise them of this scheme.
