Based in Edinburgh, but also working across Scott-Moncrieff’s offices in Glasgow and Inverness, he will support the BTC team as it implements what it describes as an ambitious strategy to build the strongest business technology consulting practice in Scotland.
This will include introducing new client services in the areas of data analytics, cyber-crime, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), programme assurance and digital transformation.
With 16 years’ experience in the field, Langosch has provided expertise across the financial sector and is said to have delivered assignments which helped clients manage and exploit data successfully. He has also created and delivered a series of training courses to enable clients to do this for themselves.
Fraser Nicol, BTC partner at the firm, said: “Martin’s appointment will further strengthen our business technology team, and allow us to add data analytics to the extensive range of services we currently provide to our clients.
“The value of data analytics is huge, as it enables us to help our clients get value from the rapidly growing amounts of data that they hold, so we are delighted to be able to add this service to our portfolio.”
