Flybe’s new Winter schedule from Edinburgh Airport includes a new Eastern Airways service to Sumburgh Airport in Shetland
Flybe has started operating its 2017-18 Winter schedule from Edinburgh Airport, featuring 12 routes, with a choice of up to 240 departures a week through to 24 March 2018.
The 2017-18 Winter schedule features flights to London Heathrow, with the up-to-four-times-daily flights operating for the first time during the winter months, having only started in March 2017.
It also marks the launch of the new Eastern Airways service to Sumburgh which departs four times a day. Meanwhile, flights to Manchester have increased in frequency from three times a day to four times a day.
Flybe’s Manchester hub offers a choice of long haul connections with its ‘One Stop to the World’ proposition, enabling travellers to book onward travel to locations all over the world, with one check-in and one ticket (with the relevant codeshare airline or via a travel agent).
Ronnie Matheson, Flybe’s Interim Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Our 2017/18 Winter schedule provides reliable and affordable services for business travel as well a choice of leisure destinations for those looking to take advantage of a winter break.”
Chief Executive of Edinburgh Airport Gordon Dewar said: “Providing more choice and more destinations, whether that be for business or leisure, is something we always look to do at Edinburgh Airport and Flybe’s winter schedule will play a part in extending those options for our passengers.”
