Wedding dress retailer named UK’s 18th fastest growing company

Wedding dress retailer with an Edinburgh store has been named 18th Fastest Growing Company in the UK by the Sunday Times

Wedding dress retailer WED2B, which has a store in Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre in Edinburgh, has been named as the 18th fastest growing company in the UK.
It has been listed in the 21st annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league table ranks, which indexes the top 100 private companies with the fastest growing sales over the past three years, at the weekend.
Edinburgh’s WED2B store opened in June 2017 and has reportedly helped thousands of local brides find their dream wedding dress.
The company, which was started in 2009, has grown to be the UKs largest bridal retailer with 27 stores nationwide. It says it has taken the industry by storm and revitalised the way brides shop for wedding dresses. All its UK-designed, limited edition dresses are available off-the-peg, so brides can take their dream dress home the same day.
Making its debut on the league table in 18th place, WED2B has recorded sales of £15.1m in 2017.
Todd Cassidy, Managing Director, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been named as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK. It shows that our proposition, which puts the needs of brides-to-be first, is paying off. Furthermore, the team have worked considerably hard, so it’s great to see their efforts being recognised by one of the most prestigious league tables for business growth.”
Edinburgh’s store manager thanked customers and said the team is delighted to have helped so many brides-to-be find ‘the one’ for their special day at WED2B.
