Carole Ann Boone was not the first wife of Ted Bundy, Rather, she met him during his trial in 1974, attended all his earnings, met him several times during the trial and ultimately after six years of seeing each other through the iron bars they married while Ted still was on trial for the gruesome murders.

Yes, Carole Ann Boone emphasized with Ted and grew close to him as the highly televised and talk about trial went on in the mid 1970s. Carole Ann Boone married Ted and also had a baby girl with him. How Did Carole Ann Boone Meet Ted Bundy?
There have been several documentaries and movies depicting how Carole and Ted would have met. In one of such pieces by Hugh Aynesworth and Stephen Michuard titled The Only Living Witness: The True Story of Serial Killer Ted Bundy, it explains the true nature of Carole Ann which is that of a “lusty tempered free spirit”. She met Ted while working up a divorce from her second husband. The two met while Ted prepared for his case as he represented himself in the case against him. It was in the Department of Emergency Service in Olympia, Washington that they first encountered each other.
Although she was already involved and Ted too was still married to his first wife, Ted was quick to confess his feelings for Boone who he wanted to date.
As the case grew stronger against Ted Bundy, Boone’s love for him rose too. They soon married and Ted expressed his desire to have a child. The couple got intimate in the jail where Ted was held. Multiple times throughout the years.
It’s also fascinating how the two married. Ted called Boone to the stage and asked her to describe him. She expressed him as warm and caring. Next, while on the stand Ted asked her to marry him. She agreed and lawfully they were husband and wife. This happened in 1980 and in 1989 Ted Bundy was executed. However, Boone and Ted had agreed to a divorce three years prior to Ted’s execution.
Carole Ann Boone lived a quiet life in Seattle post-Ted Bundy’s execution and passed away in 2018 at the age of 80.
