Motorists are being advised to be aware of a week of overnight roadworks scheduled to begin today (October 26 to 29) at the M90 off-slip at Junction 2A and the A823(M).
Forth Bridges operating company Amey says the following road closures will apply:
Overnight on 26 October 2015 – lanes closures will be in place at the M90 Junction 2A northbound off-slip, beginning at 20:00 and ending no later than 06:00 the following day.
Overnight on 27/28 October 2015 – the A823(M) will be closed westbound from 20:00 to 06:00 with diversions in place via M90 Junctions 1 and 3.
Overnight on 28th/29th October 2015 – the A823(M) will be closed eastbound from 20:00 to 06:00 with diversions in place via M90 Junction 1
Mark Arndt, Amey’s operating company representative for the Forth Bridges Unit, said: “These closures are required in order to carry out testing and coring on these roads, so that repairs can be planned for a future date.
“We’ve planned these works overnight in order to minimise disruption, however some minor delays are possible as a result of the diversions and road users are asked to plan journeys accordingly.”
