IoD heads for flagship HQ and member hub in Charlotte Street

The Institute of Directors (IoD) in Scotland is set to establish a new flagship HQ and member hub in the capital.
It has recently signed a lease on 2,951sq ft of office space at 10 Charlotte Street in Edinburgh to form modern headquarters for the organisation, as well as a new hub for Scotland’s directors.
The new office, which spans the ground and first floors of the building, will become a permanent base for the IoD Scotland team and also house meeting and events spaces for members, as well as training facilities
Executive director David Watt said: “This move represents the creation of a new focal point for IoD members in Scotland, with state-of-the-art facilities in a prestigious central location. We very much look forward to unveiling our plans, and welcoming members and visitors to our new ‘hub’, which sits right at the heart of the business and political community.”
The IoD will move from its current premises at the Royal Scots Club in the spring and the member areas are expected to be fully operational before the summer.
