Minor delays expected
Forth Bridges Unit operating company Amey has announced plans for an overnight closure of the A823M eastbound slip linking to the M90 southbound at Junction 2 between 13 and 14 May.
It says the closure is necessary to allow routine maintenance and inspection that cannot be completed with traffic on the carriageway.
The work will be carried out between 20:00 on Friday 13 May and 06:00 on Saturday 14 May. To ensure the safety of workers, the slip road will be closed at these times, with traffic diverted via M90 Junction 3.
Mark Arndt, Amey’s operating company representative for the Forth Bridges Unit, said: “We’ve planned these works overnight in order to minimise disruption, however some minor delays are possible as a result of the diversion and road users are asked to plan journeys accordingly.”
