Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa secures finals spot for Scotland Spa of the Year

Dundee spa in the running for coveted national award

Yu Spa at Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa in Dundee has been selected as a finalist for Scotland Spa of the Year in the Professional Beauty Regional Awards.
The spa has gone through an intense entry and judging process which included answering questions on philosophy, facilities, therapist qualifications and customer service.
This gave Angela McGarva, Yu Spa manager, a chance to talk about the close bond that she likes her therapists to form with their clients, listening to all their needs and concerns, so that a truly tailored and bespoke service can be given.
She said: “It’s such an achievement for us to be recognised as finalists as we put so much hard work, care and effort into looking after our clients.
“Our staff really make the difference to a client’s visit by focusing on giving them a memorable experience that they will not forget; a truly individual experience that is tailored to them.
“We are delighted to be in the finals and it is such a testament to the team. Hopefully this will get the recognition the team deserve from a wider audience”.
The winner will be announced at a black-tie dinner on 19 September 2016 at the Monastery, in the heart of Manchester.
The winner will then progress onto the National Beauty Awards to be considered for the title of National Spa of the Year, held in London on 27 February 2017.
