Top internal comms awards for Stoltsen and Cumming at 20/20

Edinburgh production team lands honours at the IoIC ICon Awards

Two of the 20/20 Productions team in Edinburgh have landed top honours at the Institute of Internal Communication Scotland (IoIC) ICon Awards.
Producer Marii Stoltsen and editor Chuck Cumming were awarded the Rising Talent: Best Young Communicator and Best Visual Creator awards respectively for their internal communications work with companies such as Heineken, Standard Life, Tesco Bank, and Reed Business Information.
The Rising Talent Award celebrates the special people under 30 who are shining in the industry, raising standards and who just fully understand what great internal communication looks and feels like.
Stoltsen’s outstanding comprehensive and considered approach is said to have wowed the judges and they said “her ability to put employees at the core ensures campaigns resonate and deliver stunning results.”
In her role as Producer at the creative agency, since 2013, Stoltsen is responsible for the conceptualisation and delivery of a variety of events, video and design projects for some of the agency’s biggest clients.
She said: “Throughout my career I have always hoped I was doing right by my clients in helping them choose the best messages and channels for their communications. Winning this award is really affirming and a huge confidence boost.”
Cumming was commended by the judging panel for his obvious real love for film and his dedication to making it work for clients, grabbing attention and getting across messages with power.
He has worked on filming and video work with clients such as Standard Life Investments, Heineken, Tesco Bank and Akzo Nobel.
He said: “I’ve always tried to bring my love of film and storytelling into every project that I work on, and it’s very satisfying to receive this recognition from the IoIC. It’s a huge motivation to keep developing and pushing my creativity.”
