Luxury apartments recognised for guest satisfaction and strong market performance
Edinburgh’s Old Town Chambers development has become one of only two properties in Scotland to have landed Expedia.com’s 2016 Best of +VIP Access Property status.
The luxury apartments have been chosen from a curated collection of more than 3,000 +VIP Access hotels after earning the highest guest satisfaction rankings and establishing their position as top market performers.
Yasmine Bratt, Expedia’s vice president of customer marketing, said: “Expedia is proud to congratulate the 2016 Best of +VIP Access hotel winners, representing hotel partners that exceed guest expectations at every level.
“Guest reviews are a critical piece of our service delivery, and when a property exceeds expectations, we want to celebrate that and do our part to recognize the hotels that make the guest experience their top priority every day.”
Gavin MacLennan, general manager of Lateral City, which runs the Old Town Chambers as part of its extensive Edinburgh property portfolio, said: “Our luxury apartments are always a winner with our guests, so we are thrilled they have given us the seal of approval on Expedia.
“We put customer service at the heart of our approach and always go the extra mile, so this is good news for us and for Edinburgh as a destination city.”
Located in the heart of the Edinburgh, just off the Royal Mile, and part of the Chris Stewart Group, the Old Town Chambers comprises 50 apartments, ranging from one-bed studio apartments to a stunning three bed penthouse, which offers views across Edinburgh and over to Fife.
