Landscaper clocks up 25 years as GIA’s longest-serving tenant

Glenrothes tenant and landlord celebrate silver anniversary

Rab Birrell, contracts manager at Glenrothes-based landscaping firm R. Munro Ltd, had every reason to celebrate this week after being awarded a bottle of champagne and special certificate for clocking up 25 years as GIA Business Properties’ longest-serving tenant.
He was presented with his surprise silver anniversary gift by lettings firm director Ray Brooks after being based at Edison House, Queensway Industrial Estate, since 1992.
Brooks said: “We felt that 25 years trading together was a remarkable achievement and we were delighted to recognise the special anniversary. While we also offer local businesses flexible, short term leases with cost effective rentals, it is satisfying to note that most of our tenants appreciate the services we offer and continue to conduct their business with our support, for many years.
Birrell added: “We have always appreciated the services that GIA has provided over the last 25 years and look forward to the future with confidence that the same professional level of service shall continue, no matter what the problem”.
GIA Property Services manages 150 properties and has dealt with more than 650 tenants during the past 25 years.
