Edinburgh hotel to be represented by independent management firm
The Bonham Hotel in Edinburgh’s West End has been acquired by independent hotel management company Bespoke Hotels.
With 49 bedrooms, stylish bar and restaurant, and events space, the hotel has joined Bespoke’s burgeoning Scottish property portfolio.
Haydn Fentum, CEO of Bespoke Hotels, which is thought to be the UK’s largest independent hotel group, said: “We are thrilled to be working alongside the new ownership of the Bonham Hotel. We are fortunate to have come on board at a very exciting time in the property’s development, as we seek to consolidate its well-earned reputation and invite travellers to explore this beautiful city.”
US-based businessman and philanthropist Richard H. Driehaus, who has recently acquired the Bonham Hotel, added: “Scotland has always held a special appeal to me, which began with my interest in the beautiful Art Nouveau works produced by artists including Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald. I am proud to join the Edinburgh community.”
