Knight Frank has brought residential development specialist Neil Kirk on board to enhance its valuations offering
Knight Frank has enhanced its valuations team with the appointment of residential development specialist Neil Kirk.
Kirk joins the independent real estate consultancy as an associate from Cushman & Wakefield, and DTZ prior to their merger, where he was an associate director in its valuations practice. Before joining DTZ, he spent five years with Allied Surveyors Scotland and Shepherd.
With a total of 16 years’ experience in valuations, Kirk is said to have worked with a broad range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. He also offers expertise in student accommodation, the private rented sector (PRS), and Build to Rent schemes.
Kirk said: “Knight Frank has a solid brand in Scotland, which opens up a range of opportunities for me to develop professionally and work with some of the country’s most high-profile property projects.
“The firm also has a strong network of offices across the country and, having worked with a number of the team previously, I knew it was a great operation. I look forward to working with all our clients across the commercial, residential, and specialist sectors.”
Michael Lindgren, Valuations Partner at Knight Frank in Edinburgh, added: “Neil is a significant addition to our team, giving us a natural bridge between the commercial and residential practices and access to a host of new skills.
“He knows both markets well and can add real insight to our offering across our Scottish offices. We’re very pleased to welcome him to Knight Frank.”
